Acceptable Use Policy

LaunchRoom helps small teams organize honest, high-quality launches. This policy outlines the use we will not permit on the platform.

For questions about how this policy applies to your account, email legal@launchingroom.com. This page is informational and not legal advice.

Responsible use

LaunchRoom is built to help founders, indie makers, and small teams run clearer launches. We expect users to apply the product in good faith, with respect for recipients of their outreach and the truthfulness of their messaging.

Prohibited content

  • Content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Hateful content, harassment, or content that targets or endangers a person or group.
  • Sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits minors.
  • Content promoting violence, self-harm, or terrorism.
  • Malware, phishing kits, or other security-violating payloads.

Prohibited sending behavior

  • Sending email, messages, or notifications to recipients who have not opted in or who lack a clear lawful basis for being contacted.
  • Disguising the sender, subject, or origin of outreach.
  • Bypassing unsubscribe requests or sending after a recipient has opted out.
  • Using LaunchRoom to send transactional notices that are actually marketing.

No spam or unauthorized outreach

LaunchRoom is not a tool for cold-blasting purchased lists, scraped contacts, or recipients you have no relationship with. Outreach contact lists you upload must be lists you are legally entitled to message.

No deceptive launch claims

Do not use LaunchRoom to draft or distribute messaging that misrepresents your product, fabricates customer testimonials, invents press coverage, claims partnerships you do not have, or misstates funding, traction, or team size.

No illegal or harmful activity

Do not use LaunchRoom to plan, promote, or coordinate activity that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction of your audience, including fraud, market manipulation, regulated-product promotion without authorization, or evasion of sanctions.

No uploading data without authorization

Workspace content — including outreach lists, feedback, contact data, and assets — must be data you are authorized to use. Do not upload personal data without a lawful basis, do not upload confidential material that you do not have rights to, and do not upload sensitive categories of data (health, financial, biometric, government IDs) into LaunchRoom.

No misuse of AI-generated content

AI features in LaunchRoom are tools, not authors. Do not use them to impersonate real individuals, generate deceptive deepfakes, fabricate quotes attributed to real people, or produce content designed to deceive users about who is speaking. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-assisted output before it is used externally.

Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in warnings, removal of content, throttling, suspension, or termination of accounts and workspaces. Severe or repeated violations will result in termination without prior notice.

Reporting abuse

Report suspected abuse, takedown requests, or policy violations to legal@launchingroom.com. Provide enough detail (URLs, account identifiers, screenshots) for us to investigate.
